My half-eaten box of Cheerwine Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Mmm.
Krispy Kreme is based out of Winston-Salem, NC and Cheerwine is based out of Salisbury, NC (my hometown). Two NC favorites have come together to create a “Cheerwine Kreme Filled Doughnut”. And it is good.
In my opinion, the Cheerwine cream inside the doughnut tastes very similar to Cheerwine Ice Cream (created by Food Lion, a grocery store company also based in Salisbury).
These might not be good for your physical health, but they are definitely taste good!

This is a pantry/storage unit that my wife and I built. This area used to be an under-counter water heater. However, when it broke a few months ago, our landlord installed a new one in the crawlspace and re-routed the pipes. So, we ended up with useless space in what was already an extremely small kitchen. So, we took the liberty of ripping out the old water heater and surroundings and built a pantry unit to take its space. Definitely a better use of the space! We didn’t feel like painting by the time we got done. It’s only a temporary fix anyways, since this is only a rental apartment.

After a long and arduous journey, victory has come! After many years, Pop-Tarts finally brought back Grape! The years of struggle are over. Some doubted my dream of a world with grape pop-tarts. Some didn’t believe it ever existed in the first place. But I never lost hope.

I thought I’d give Tumblr a shot. It should be a good place to collect quick posts of stuff I find, enjoy, or create. We’ll see if I stick with it.
